How Would You Feel If? Fun Deck
This Fun Deck taps into the basic understandings of feelings, with each card prompting a new situation. Children are given the opportunity to reflect on the situation and start to express how they think they may feel in that situation.
How Would You Feel If... Fun Deck has 56 entertaining cards to help students discuss and/or write about their feelings using a variety of situations. Each card has a colourful illustration with a "How Would You Feel If..." question. These cards are ideal for use with individuals or groups. Cards are stored in a sturdy storage tin.
HOW CAN “HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF?” BE USED?
FACE IT! –
Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Each player then chooses a card from the pile. After reading their cards, players draw a face on a separate sheet of paper to show how they would feel about the situation on their card. Players then explain their feelings and share their pictures with the other players.
ACT IT OUT –
Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile. Player One chooses a card and reads it aloud. Then Player One acts out how he/she would feel or behave in the situation. The teacher acts as a moderator, and awards points for appropriate responses.
