Delivery/ Shipping Terms and Rates

We offer various delivery options. Please be in touch via email or WhatsApp to discuss your specific delivery needs prior to purchase. Our traditional delivery service is a door to door courier service, all across South Africa.

Free collection can be arranged by booking your own courier collection, to collect from our offices in Lonehill, Johannesburg or by collection in person from the same address. The collection address will be supplied once the order is placed and paid for. Parcel dimensions can be supplied on request.

Your will receive an automated message from our online system once your order has been picked and packed and is ready for collection or has been dispatched for courier delivery.

Annually, from 1 November - 18 December, please expect an increase in the delivery days due to the year-end school's rush and Festive Season orders.

Shipping Rates

Standard Shipping in and around Johannesburg and Pretoria: R139 (2 - 4 working days delivery).

Standard Shipping to major centres around SA: R179.00 (3 - 5 working days delivery).

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping in Gauteng (Johannesburg & Pretoria) for orders over R890.

Free shipping for all major centres (Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Polokwane, East London, Port Elizabeth, George, Kimberley, Ladysmith, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Potchefstroom, Witbank and Welkom) for orders over R1390.

Please note - Free shipping does not apply to discounted orders as well as outlying areas and will be charged after purchase should the automated system not be able to calculate the shipping at the time of purchase.

STOCK SHORTAGES

Should a product you have ordered be:

Unavailable: We will notify you that the product is out of stock, and give you an estimate of the delay in delivery, unless you agree to wait for such longer period for delivery, or accept delivery of another product instead, Playing and Learning will issue a credit voucher to an amount equal to the price paid for the product (plus any additional charges applied^*).
Discontinued or permanently unavailable: We will notify you and, unless you agree to accept another product instead, Playing and Learning will issue a credit note to an amount equal to the price paid for the product (plus any additional charges applied^*).

^*Delivery fees will not be refunded if the unavailable item(s) are part of an order which included items that will still be delivered.
