Threading Shapes and Laces

Threading shapes is a fun way to learn how to tread. The holes in the included shapes are large enough to make easy for for small hands. Lacing activities develop hand-eye coordination and hand muscles,  build fine motor skills and bilateral integration.

Children can be creative and tread the shapes in different ways, e.g. plain stitches, cross stitches, etc. One can also use the threading shapes for other activities besides treading, e.g. naming the shapes or colours as well as sorting and tracing them. Children can also use the shapes as stencils to draw with or make dot-to-dot pictures. Using shapes for drawing develops visual discrimination as well as the skills necessary for writing and dressing.

The set includes 4 plastic shapes and 4 laces in red, green, yellow and blue.  Colour of shapes may vary from images provided.
