The material is safe and non-toxic. The inner material is food colouring and distilled water, and the surface material is plastic. Because the plastic material is less breathable, after the tactile jelly pads are overlapped and placed for a period of time, white misty water vapor will appear at the overlap, which is completely normal. The air will naturally dissipate.
