Hey Clay - Dragon Island

Welcome to Dragon Island, where a handful of colourful clay is the beginning of a mythical adventure! Hey Clay – Dragon Island invites children to sculpt six dragon characters, bringing a world of fantastical creatures to life one squish, roll and pinch at a time.

The soft, pliable clay is inviting to work with, while step-by-step video guides in the Hey Clay app break each character down into manageable shapes. As children join the pieces and add the finishing details, they discover how simple beginnings can become something full of personality.

There’s meaningful learning in every little movement. Rolling, shaping and working with small details encourage finger strength, fine motor control and hand–eye coordination. Following the sculpting sequence offers practice in planning, concentration and visual observation, while experimenting with colour and individual touches makes room for creative thinking.

The adventure needn’t end when the sculpting is done. Leave the dragons to air-dry and harden, then display the collection or dream up stories about the island they call home. Will they guard a hidden treasure or set off to explore somewhere new? That part is up to their maker.

A lovely project for dragon enthusiasts and imaginative minds, this set connects app-guided instructions with tactile, hands-on making and the satisfaction of creating something from scratch.

Includes: 15 cans of air-dry modelling clay to make six characters, two sculpting tools and a QR code to unlock the interactive instructions in the Hey Clay app. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
