Optics Kit: 10 Experiments

Welcome to a wonderful world of optics and optical illusions. Introduce your child to eye-opening activities and hours of fun discovery.

• Build a periscope and the child will be able to see what is happening both behind and ahead. 
• Play with mirrors and see, for example, what the shape means.
• Look into a kaleidoscope (which mimics the eye of an insect) and combine this with light filters.
• Play and learn about optical illusions.
• With the combination of light filters and coloured images, the child will begin to get the feeling that the perception of colors depends on the light that hits our eyes.
• Be fascinated by what you can see with a hologram and create your own rainbow.

The set contains parts for 10 activities. In addition, a smartphone must be used for one of the activities.  It includes an illustrated guide and an explanation for the adult supervisor about the individual activities.
